The field of plasmas has made extraordinary progress since its conception, with applications in the realms of physics, chemistry, engineering, medicine and others.

Thus, plasma becomes a multidisciplinary topic, requiring in-depth studies such as:

Deposition of thin films;
Material removal by plasma;
Surface modifications by plasma;
Plasma polymerization;
Plasma-treated ceramics and glasses;
Low-pressure plasma-induced nitriding;
Plasma immersion ion implantation;
Plasma in medicine and biomaterials;
Plasma spray coating;
Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation (PEO).
